This is a space where I can share stories about Daniel. There is, also, another important place called Remembering. This is a place for other people to share memories of any kind. Some of what’s shared may be a brief comment and others may share more extended memories.

Pictures can also be shared. Hopefully, the blog will bring back wonderful and meaningful memories or at least memories that are funny in hind-sight.

Remembering Daniel

Daniel lived his life with compassion
and humor. His creativity and ability to use language and his care for those who were less privileged made him unique.

He was not afraid to stand up for others when they were mistreated. Daniel had a big personality and a huge amount of love to share with all of us who were a part of his life. Daniel was generous not only with money, but with his time and with emotional support.

Photos of Daniel show his many looks over the years. There are periods with long hair and times with short. Sometimes he was a blonde and other times a brunette.

The beard and mustache came and went. The most consistent part of his look over the last 20 years were the Black Flag sunglasses.

Is this a blog? I really don’t know what a blog is, so if this doesn’t fit the traditions of a blog, please feel free to make up your own name for it. I wanted a space where we could share stories about Daniel. My original thought was to use this “blog” to acknowledge some of what I learned from Daniel, and I will share some of that, and I hope everyone will feel free to share what they’ve learned from Daniel (or what they’ve learned not to do from Daniel.)
